The USP-Buran unit consists of the USP-101 signal-launching device and the BURAN powder fire-extinguishing module, which are connected by cable.

When a fire occurs and the set temperature is reached, the thermosensitive element located in the signal- launching device is activated. As a result, an electrical impulse is generated at the USP-101 output, which is sent to the Buran module.
